Invitation marks the culmination of All all all's annual programme, which explores the invitation as an economic tool, an outstretched hand, a responsibility, a gesture.
At the beginning of the year, we sent out a letter to seven artists, inviting each of them to produce a new work reflecting on their thoughts about the invitation. It was intentionally an open invitation, with only one constraint: we encouraged the artists not to spend more than DKK 5,000—the amount we provided as production support—on making the work. Additionally, each artist receives an exhibition fee of DKK 6,000.
